Valuable is a simple and easy-to-use tool that helps you discover the value of your treasured possessions. Just take a picture of an item with your smartphone—no complicated steps or technical know-how required. Valuable will estimate the item's valuation and provide interesting insights about it. This process saves you time and keeps things straightforward, allowing you to focus on what truly matters: capturing the meaningful things in your life, building your collections, and connecting with the people you care about through sharing.

Valuable is perfect for anyone who wants to save time and keep things simple while discovering the worth of their treasured possessions. Whether you're a collector, someone who has inherited family heirlooms, or simply curious about the items you own, Valuable makes the process effortless and enjoyable. It's especially handy when you come across an item of interest at estate sales, antique shops, or during your shopping excursions. You can easily add new finds to your Shopping List to keep track of things you'd love to acquire. With Valuable, you can focus on capturing the meaningful things in your life, building your collections, and connecting with the people you care about through sharing.

An asset is an item for which you want to learn more. It may be an item that you or a family member owns, or it may be an item you are considering for purchase. Simply take up to 6 photos of the asset to get insights and an estimated value range. The number of assets in your Valuable account determines the price of your subscription.

Once you tap the + button to add an asset, you may either tap the square in square button with mountains to upload a photo from your device’s photo gallery or you may tap the camera button to take new photos. New photos will duplicate in your device’s gallery as well. Once you’ve added the photos, tap the check button to save them. If you would like to add more photos of an asset after you’ve created it, go to the Asset Details page and tap edit. You’ll see a +photo button in the bottom left of the asset’s photo. Tap it and choose between gallery or camera. To get the best estimate, include up to 6 photos with identifying information in the photos.

Our AI sources data everywhere from online marketplaces like Etsy and eBay to auction houses and estate sales. Additionally, we have a proprietary AI curation system. Valuable searches also include results from Google, Bing, and other public sources. We are starting work with sources of vast amounts of private sales and inventory data. Stay tuned. Finally, we have introduced a new beta feature for subscribers that allows you to chat directly and privately with a human researcher who will use their resources to help you further explore the identity of your asset and the market for it.

We have simplified editing by bringing all editing to your main asset page. You can tap on the edit button next to any part of the asset — like Name, Description, Market Analysis — and edit right there without navigating to an edit page. You can also regenerate the entire asset with the Regenerate button, which allows you to add more detail to the AI prompt before regenerating. This used to be called “edit with AI”. The plan is ultimately to replace the regenerate feature with a full conversational AI Agentic chat tool. You will be able to converse with it to further research your asset and prompt it to modify anything about your asset.

Absolutely! Valuable is especially handy when you discover items of interest during estate sales, antique stores, or other shopping excursions. Simply take a picture of the item with your smartphone, and Valuable will provide you with an estimated valuation and interesting insights on the spot. You can also add new items to your Shopping List Collection to keep track of things you'd love to acquire. This feature saves you time and helps you make informed decisions while building your collections.

In the Asset Details page, you’ll see a Share button at the bottom of the screen. You may send a PDF of the asset to a friend via text or email. Or you may save it to your files. This is a fun way to share your finds or new purchases. To export all of your assets, tap the Account button. You’ll see an Export button, which puts all of your assets into a spreadsheet.

All new accounts have a Shopping List and My 1st Collection to get you started. Collections may be added and renamed. Go to Dashboard, then Manage. Shopping is intended for items you are considering for purchase. Once you buy items, you may want to move them to a different collection. You may want to organize collections by ownership. For example, Amy and John or Grandma June. This is especially helpful if asset distribution is in the near future. If you have a significant car collection, you may want to keep those items together in a collection titled Cars. This will allow you to see the number of assets and high and low estimate totals of that specific collection. Ultimately, only you can answer this question. Hope this helps!
